Church of San Giovanni Battista
The Parish Church of Lumezzane: comfort, well-being, and innovation
The Church of San Giovanni Battista in Lumezzane, Diocese of Brescia, is a historic building from the 12th century, built on the remains of a Roman shrine. Over the centuries, the church has undergone numerous expansions and restorations, including those in 1570 by Architect Beretta and between 1695-1700 by Carlo Bianchi. In 1895, a modern organ made by Diego Porro was installed.
Recently, the church has been equipped with the MORE FTA-e electric floor heating system, replacing the old air heating system. This innovative system was chosen for its ability to preserve the artistic heritage, avoiding the dispersion of dust and heat that could damage frescoes and furnishings.
MORE FTA-e system ensures optimal comfort thanks to a low-thickness, high-compression resistance insulating panel, which prevents heat dispersion downwards, ensuring significant energy savings. The heating cable allows for quickly reaching comfortable temperatures without harming people. Advanced sensors, strategically positioned, control the temperatures of the panel and the cable, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
The MORE FTA-e system represents a cutting-edge solution for heating historic environments, combining technology and respect for cultural heritage.
