The renovation of an attic between technique and craftsmanship

The renovation of a penthouse of over 160 m² in a prestigious historic building in Brescia, designed by Egidio Dabbeni in 1927, represented a complex architectural challenge, completed by the Falconi Architettura studio. The intervention required the demolition and remodeling of the interior spaces to promote the diffusion of natural light and greater interconnection between the environments.

Among the protagonists of the project are the MORE solutions, crucial for ensuring the climatic comfort of the penthouse. The MORE FTA radiant floor heating system, with low thickness, low inertia, and high efficiency, integrated into the floor with a fine antique teak parquet by Listone Giordano, ensured energy efficiency and excellent performance, even in minimal thicknesses. The project included the installation of MORE VMC for air exchange and MORE DEU for optimal humidity control, improving healthiness and protecting precious materials. These solutions were connected to the MORE SET regulation and control system, essential for preserving the elegant continuous wooden flooring. Among other technical details, the heated mirror with the MORE PAD system in the master bathroom combines technology and craftsmanship, improving the thermal comfort of the environment. The use of high-quality materials, such as teak and fine marbles, combined with careful lighting design, has created a residence that combines elegance, craftsmanship, and climatic well-being.
